Job Overview

The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of the assigned GKVale Studio's operations, driving profitability while ensuring outstanding customer service and high-quality photography standards. This leadership role requires managing daily activities, leading the studio team, and maintaining smooth functioning aligned with company policies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily studio operations including scheduling photography sessions and appointments.
  • Maintain studio cleanliness, ambiance, equipment upkeep, and safety compliance.
  • Manage staff including photographers, telecallers, customer service executives, editors, and support personnel through motivation, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct daily briefings, implement new employee training, and supervise attendance and productivity.
  • Deliver professional and memorable customer experiences; resolve complaints and sustain high satisfaction.
  • Meet defined monthly and annual sales targets by promoting photography packages and related products.
  • Supervise photography and production quality, coordinate with editing teams for timely delivery, and ensure product standards.
  • Maintain inventory control of equipment and consumables; safeguard company assets.
  • Handle financial tasks including cash and digital payment monitoring, billing accuracy, daily reconciliations, and cost control.
  • Support marketing efforts, build business relationships with local institutions and event organizers, and promote campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Keep thorough employee records and submit operational reports regularly to management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related discipline.
  • Additional diploma or certificate in Photography or Retail Management is advantageous.
  • Five to eight years' experience in retail, photography studio operations, hospitality, or customer service, including at least two years in team management.
  • Experience managing sales targets preferred.
