Software Engineering Intern (Greentech)

About the role

Reonic is hiring a full-time, on-site software engineering intern in Berlin to help build the operating system for the energy transition. The product supports renewable energy businesses across Europe, and your work will move quickly from development into production, where it will be used by real customers.

The team is creating an AI-first platform for renewable installers. This opportunity is aimed at motivated builders who want real responsibility, fast learning, and the chance to make visible impact from the beginning. Unlike many internships, this role is not about shadowing or doing low-value tasks; it is about shipping, ownership, and solving meaningful problems.

What you will work on

• Build product capabilities using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Translate complex operational workflows into clear, user-friendly interfaces.
• Contribute to AI-enabled flows that help installers sell and deliver renewable energy projects faster.
• Support backend services, APIs, and internal tools.
• Investigate issues, fix bugs, and improve the performance of production systems.
• Work with product and design partners to turn ideas into working features.
