We are recruiting a strategic and imaginative Social Media Manager to join British Vogue’s editorial team in London. This pivotal position collaborates closely with editors and writers to bring stories to life on social platforms, aiming to boost engagement, increase audience reach, and drive web traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily publishing, optimization, and performance tracking across multiple social channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Pinterest.
• Partner with editorial teams to maximize engagement and referral traffic for every piece of content.
• Support the Senior Manager in crafting social media strategies for major campaigns such as cover launches, awards seasons, and flagship editorial series.
• Experiment with new content ideas in collaboration with the Audience Development team, measure impact, and scale successful initiatives.
• Stay ahead of social media trends, platform changes, and audience preferences to maintain Vogue’s leadership in digital storytelling.
• Assist in managing brand partnerships and sponsored content to optimize revenue-generating opportunities.
• Create visually appealing social media graphics, templates, and branded materials consistent with British Vogue's editorial style.
• Work closely with video production teams to develop engaging social-first video content.
• Innovate with content formats that resonate with evolving audiences, including commerce-related formats.
• Engage confidently with talents, influencers, and industry stakeholders to maximize content reach and capture dynamic content during events and editorial shoots.
• Produce and publish timely, engaging content from Fashion Month and photoshoots, demonstrating agility in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of three years’ experience in social media management, preferably in digital publishing.
• Excellent editorial instincts coupled with strong writing skills.
• A proven record in crafting visual and social narratives that effectively engage audiences.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Skilled in graphic design tools including Photoshop and Canva.
• Experience using social scheduling and analytics platforms, with familiarity in Dash Hudson and Parse.ly considered advantageous.
• Deep understanding of the fashion and luxury media sectors.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple simultaneous tasks.
• An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities based on data insights.
• A cooperative, solution-focused demeanor and flexibility to work beyond typical office hours when needed.
