Shipping Administrator - Cold Chain/Dispatch

About the Role

Silver Fern Farms Finegand is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Administrator to join the team. This key position involves coordinating shipping operations, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of export documentation, and collaborating closely with both internal departments and external partners to guarantee smooth process flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shipping contracts in alignment with in-house inventory and coordinate container supply and transportation to port punctually.
• Prepare precise electronic export documentation that meets MPI requirements, including certificates and other supporting documents.
• Communicate effectively with shipping companies, MPI officials, and internal teams to adhere to loading schedules and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee container loading activities relative to inventory records, ensuring all shipping instructions and deadlines are fulfilled.
• Maintain comprehensive records and deliver administrative assistance to the Cold Chain/Dispatch division.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in shipping, logistics, or administrative roles; familiarity with export processes is beneficial.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.
• Strong communication skills, with an aptitude for building solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and eager to learn new systems and tools.
• Possesses a proactive problem-solving approach, committed to delivering high-quality results.

Working Hours and Conditions

This position operates Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime and Saturday work during peak periods.
