About the Role
The Services Partner Consultant position is integral to managing relationships with regional partners, primarily within Australia and New Zealand, with occasional international partner involvement. This role aligns closely with sales and regional management teams to assure that partners are well-vetted and harmonize culturally with the company. The consultant is tasked with devising strategies and plans to support partner growth across both regional and technical domains. Leadership, mentorship, and guidance to select partners enable effective execution of Professional Services engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and sustain productive partnerships with Professional Services partners.
- Concentrate efforts on supporting partners in Australia and New Zealand, with potential support for international partners.
- Collaborate with regional business teams and practice managers to craft partner-led service offerings.
- Assist internal teams with partner quotations and regional requests to ensure the engagement of qualified partners.
- Coordinate with the broader partner team, adhering to and enhancing established processes.
- Engage in partner issue escalation and possible partner deactivation procedures.
- Work alongside practice teams to validate the technical proficiency of partners.
- Promote and advocate for the partner program within their designated regions.
- Participate in financial negotiations related to Statements of Work contracts both before and after sales completion.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Sciences, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent education, training, and experience combinations may also be accepted.
- At least five years of progressive experience in a related field, preferably with management experience in a Professional Services setting.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
- Competent in PC usage.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Experience in managing escalations effectively.
