Service and Warranty Officer

Position Overview

Clarendon Homes, a member of the Campbell Property Group, a leading name in Australian residential construction and property development, is looking to hire a Warranty Officer to serve the region from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive rectification of warranty-related defects.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by regularly guiding and updating homeowners.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Customercare CSCs, Site Managers, Construction CSCs, Drafting, Estimating, Permits, and Lifestyle Studio, as well as with external trades and suppliers, ensuring efficient handling of defective rectifications post-handover.
• Inform customers about warranty coverage, advising when items fall outside warranty scope.
• Educate homeowners on maintenance responsibilities and warranty processes to set clear expectations.
• Process purchase order requests and EFT requisitions timely and accurately.
• Stay informed about product inclusions and display home variations to improve customer communications.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of statutory warranty periods and related procedures to expedite customer assistance.

Candidate Profile

• Experience with tools or trade skills, including construction or general maintenance.
• Preferably has prior experience in home building.
• Competent in using relevant technology and software.
• Knowledgeable about the Home Building Act and warranty regulations for new home construction.
• Familiar with warranty remedial processes and basic building concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and adept at customer service and conflict resolution.
• Capable of reading and understanding home plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Professional appearance paired with a positive, friendly attitude.
