Job Overview

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our Honda dealership located in Northampton. This role involves managing customer interactions and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repair scheduling within a busy environment.

Working Hours and Compensation

The position requires working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with additional Saturday shifts on a rotational basis. Compensation includes a base salary plus a monthly performance bonus, with an earnings potential of £36,000 annually.

Primary Duties

• Scheduling customer vehicles for maintenance and repairs and coordinating with the workshop team to manage workloads efficiently.
• Welcoming customers at drop-off and managing the vehicle handover process seamlessly.
• Providing clients with updates on their vehicle's progress, authorizing extra repairs, and making follow-up communications.
• Collaborating closely with Workshop, Parts, and Sales departments to ensure timely vehicle readiness.

Candidate Profile

• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
• Professional appearance coupled with a motivated and positive attitude aimed at success.
• Prior experience in a customer service role with targets related to customer satisfaction and sales is preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills; familiarity with dealer management systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Experience in motor trade, automotive, or car dealership sectors is desirable, though training will be provided.
