Role overview
As a Senior Workforce Manager at TaskUs in Indore, you will guide workforce planning activities that ensure the right number of people are available at the right time. The role focuses on forecasting demand, building schedules, and improving labor efficiency so operations run smoothly and service levels stay strong.
What you will do
You will lead a team of workforce planners and use demand forecasting to estimate transaction volumes across calls, messages, and emails. Based on those projections, you will plan staffing levels, coordinate schedules, and help maximize manpower usage.
The position also involves using workforce data to improve budgeting, attendance tracking, leave planning, compliance, payroll efficiency, and employee productivity. You will work with stakeholders to support business cases with accurate data, maintain employee rosters with availability, preferences, and skill information, and help automate workforce reporting to reduce manual effort.
In addition, you will contribute to better engagement insights, support training and coaching adjustments, reduce labor costs, and strengthen operational agility so the business can adapt quickly to changing schedules and demand.
Requirements
This role calls for an experienced workforce professional with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics or Statistics, and 5 to 7 years of experience in workforce operations. Experience should include client-facing or senior management interaction.
You should have strong capability in capacity planning, forecasting, real-time management, reporting, and scheduling, along with practical knowledge of workforce management tools. Strong organizational, project management, presentation, statistical analysis, and data-handling skills are important.
You will also need to manage multiple complex assignments, show excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable working with large data sets to identify patterns and trends. Good computer skills are expected, including working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication, a self-driven attitude, high performance orientation, and a people-first leadership and coaching style are also essential.
