About The Role
Join our dedicated team in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), a community where strong connections and longstanding partnerships support impactful 3 Waters infrastructure projects. Our current portfolio includes a wide variety of projects ranging from treatment plants to stormwater systems, bulk pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, renewals, and related networks.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery across the entire lifecycle—from feasibility to handover—of diverse infrastructure and 3 Waters projects.
- Provide strategic leadership while engaging in detailed daily activities such as issuing contract instructions, chairing meetings, and maintaining transparent client communication.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate design and technical teams effectively.
- Oversee consenting processes and ensure robust contract documentation and reporting.
- Act as the client’s representative in all project stages, including acting as Engineer’s Representative under NZS3910/NZS3916 contracts.
Requirements and Experience
- A minimum of 8 years of postgraduate experience in civil engineering, project delivery, or construction management; including experience as a consultant or client-side Project Manager.
- Relevant degree or qualification in STEM disciplines such as Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management.
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and regionally to project sites.
- Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects with a focus on 3 Waters assets; building project experience is advantageous.
- Strong expertise in New Zealand building regulations, legislation, health and safety standards.
- Ability to challenge concepts, resolve issues proactively, and implement effective solutions.
