Senior Product Manager - DEX Institutional Trading

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and development of the OKX DEX Institutional Trading product, with a strong emphasis on the DEX API. This key position supports a broad user base, including algorithmic traders, large institutions, and Web3 protocols, delivering a top-tier API experience to maximize the potential of our decentralized exchange aggregator.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis of DEX aggregators and API technologies to maintain industry leadership.
• Identify and explore new use cases to increase DEX API adoption and functionality.
• Collect and prioritize needs from stakeholders such as engineering, business development, marketing teams, external developers, and the broader DeFi community.
• Convert user and business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and API documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of API enhancements.
• Monitor API performance, reliability, and scalability to guarantee an excellent developer experience.
• Serve as the main advocate for developers using the API, gathering feedback for ongoing improvements.
• Work alongside developer relations and marketing to create documentation, tutorials, SDKs, and other materials to simplify integration and drive participation.
• Engage actively with the developer community via forums, social channels, and events to nurture a vibrant ecosystem around the DEX API.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Have 3 to 5 years experience in Product Management focused on APIs, trading platforms, or FinTech.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and decentralized exchanges.
• Proven track record of designing, launching, and managing API products with expertise in REST and WebSocket standards.
• Exhibit strong analytical abilities and approach decision-making with data-driven insights.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to varied audiences.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and closely with engineering teams.
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment.
• Fluent in English.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous direct experience with DEX aggregators, smart contracts, and multi-chain bridging.
• Experience building and managing developer communities.
• Understanding of algorithmic trading and institutional crypto trading requirements.
• Mandarin proficiency to collaborate with diverse technical teams.
• Strong enthusiasm for Web3 and decentralized technology innovation.
