Job Overview
The Senior Officer - Licensing plays a pivotal role within the Licensing Division, focusing on the meticulous and efficient processing of online licensing applications, permits, and No Objection Certificates across various marine-related services.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly examine online submissions for services including marine crafts and vessels to ensure information accuracy and document completeness.
- Identify and rectify any inconsistencies or missing elements in applications.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication about application progress, requirements, and follow-up actions.
- Promptly and professionally handle customer inquiries and address their concerns with exemplary service.
- Listen attentively to feedback to identify enhancement opportunities that boost customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams to promptly resolve customer issues.
- Engage directly with customers via meetings or virtual sessions to collect details, alleviate concerns, and foster trust.
- Collaborate closely with senior licensing management and specialists to manage complex cases and ensure smooth customer experiences.
- Partner with IT support to troubleshoot and solve technical problems related to customer and employee portals, as well as other IT needs.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the licensing platform and its functionalities.
- Accurately input and maintain records of fines or violations within the specified system.
- Produce and sustain detailed reports and statistics pertinent to Licensing Division operations.
Qualifications
- Educationally, candidates should possess at least a high school diploma complemented by fundamental computer skills.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic languages is essential.
- Open to fresh graduates or candidates with a minimum of three years experience in customer service or administrative functions.
- Applicants should be eager to develop knowledge related to the maritime or licensing sectors.
