Senior Manager - Purchase (Engineering and Machined Components MNC)

Role Overview

Leading the purchasing operations for SG Iron and Grey Iron foundry materials, ensuring continuous availability of all raw materials, consumables, and services with optimal cost efficiency, quality, and punctual delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic sourcing and materials procurement logistics (MP&L) to maintain supply chain efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships to optimize costs while mitigating risks associated with procurement.
• Drive initiatives for cost reduction, quality assurance, and timely delivery within the purchasing function.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.) in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing roles within the automotive, engineering, or foundry industries.
• At least 5 years dedicated to procurement of SG Iron, Grey Iron, Pig Iron, Scrap, Ferro Alloys, Coke, Resins, Sand, and Refractories.
• Proficient with SAP systems.
• Willingness to relocate to Coimbatore, India.
