Overview

The Senior Hostess plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences within the hospitality environment by managing front-of-house operations smoothly and efficiently.

Core Duties

• Warmly welcome guests on arrival, provide precise waiting time information, and guide patrons to their designated seating areas.
• Manage reservation bookings received through calls, messaging applications, or booking platforms while upholding guest arrival policies.
• Coordinate seating arrangements and balance workloads among servers to ensure efficient floor management.
• Serve as a communication bridge linking front-of-house personnel, servers, and kitchen staff, passing on key information such as VIP guests, large groups, or dietary needs.
• Distribute menus, assist guests with specific requests, and address minor concerns with tact and understanding.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the reception desk and entrance zone to uphold a pleasant environment.
