Senior Frontend Engineer (Core Business)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Developer to enhance our product interfaces and user experiences at Snoonu, Qatar's leading Super App. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React.js, Material-UI, and Redux toolkit, collaborating intimately with design and backend teams to develop responsive, high-quality web applications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust web user interfaces.
• Create comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Review peer code for adherence to standards.
• Implement new frontend features and products using modern development tools.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to deliver engaging user experiences.
• Manage and uphold a clean, maintainable codebase.
• Address frontend challenges involving performance optimization and reusable code practices.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• At least four years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and object models.
• In-depth knowledge of React.js methodologies and principles.
• Hands-on experience with UI libraries such as Material-UI or Ant Design.
• Competence in state management tools like Redux or Recoil.
• Experience using React Query for efficient data fetching and caching.
• Familiar with modern frontend build tools and pipelines.
• Skilled in optimizing frontend performance to reduce resource consumption and loading times.
• Proficient with frontend testing tools including Jest and React Testing Library.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
