About the Business Intelligence Team
This team offers services and solutions to diverse customers including financial institutions, corporations, governmental bodies, universities, executives, and industry professionals.
Role Overview
Based in Dubai, this role focuses on expanding the Dow Jones Business Intelligence solutions within the Middle East region. The Senior Account Manager will strategically retain and grow the business with critical, top-tier accounts, especially targeting the leading banks in the UAE, managing the full sales cycle of Risk & Compliance offerings to stimulate new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop the Key/Strategic Business Intelligence client portfolio, prioritizing the top eight UAE banks to ensure retention and boost contract values.
- Drive new business by identifying, qualifying, and closing complex deals across the Risk & Compliance product range, aiming to meet revenue targets.
- Analyze client business challenges deeply to align appropriate Risk & Compliance solutions effectively using an advanced solution sales approach.
- Provide strategic leadership on the Risk & Compliance business direction including brand positioning, value proposition, and product development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and marketing teams to align events, public relations, branding, and communications with sales strategies and plans.
- Maintain strategic partnerships with external technology advisors and market facilitators.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience selling to financial institutions and government organizations, specifically a proven success record with UAE's top eight banks.
- Deep knowledge of regional compliance regulations and extensive familiarity with available Risk and Compliance market solutions.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages, coupled with at least a degree-level educational background.
- Demonstrated experience selling complex information and compliance solutions to senior-level executives.
- Exemplary skills in influencing decision-makers and advancing sales cycles in Risk and Compliance domains.
- Strong ability to understand and articulate client challenges in a knowledgeable manner.
