Role Overview
As a Scrum Master, you will oversee 2-3 product teams within a scaled agile environment that currently includes 11 development teams. Your primary responsibility is to uphold and advocate agile values, managing our development frameworks primarily based on SCRUM and occasionally Kanban. You will partner closely with developers, product owners, and management, shaping internal and cross-team workflows and structures to facilitate efficient and sustainable software delivery, especially for customer-related systems such as client data management and shipment tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent agile principles and manage Scrum and Kanban methodologies for multiple product teams in a scaled setting.
- Collaborate as a strategic advisor to developers, product owners, and leaders to enhance processes and organizational structures.
- Use a broad range of agile techniques to ensure the efficient and sustainable development of customer-centric solutions.
- Build upon the teams' agile maturity, identify and address obstacles by facilitating transparent communication and problem-solving.
- Encourage collaboration, identify conflicts early, and guide teams through agile process transformations.
- Maintain a respectful and collaborative team environment with ample opportunities for shaping organizational approaches.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent qualification in IT or related fields; prior roles as a developer or product owner are welcome.
- Several years of proven experience as a Scrum Master across various teams and organizations, demonstrating a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Strong expertise in agile methods including Scrum events, Story Mapping, OKRs, Flight Levels, Lean approaches, Kanban, and agile project management techniques.
- High emotional intelligence, curiosity, and decisiveness.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to support teams effectively in remote work settings.
