About the Position
This permanent full-time role begins as soon as possible at Harvey Senior High School, which has proudly served its community for over six decades. Situated in a serene environment near the Harvey Hills, 140km south of Perth and close to Bunbury, the school fosters excellence in education, encouraging lifelong learning and community contribution.
Key Responsibilities
The School Officer will be essential in managing the financial workflow, including coding accounts and GST, reconciling financial records, and processing invoices. They will also handle month-end duties such as depositing receipts and maintaining data accuracy. Additionally, the role involves compiling financial data to support budgeting and resource planning. Beyond finance, the officer manages school assets, coordinates the use and maintenance of facilities outside school hours, maintains security codes and registers, and supports administrative staff through induction programs and relief coordination.
Eligibility and Requirements
Applicants must be Australian/New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid visa with appropriate work rights. A valid Working With Children Check and a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check clearance are mandatory prior to commencing.
