SAP CO Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SAP CO Consultant with extensive expertise in Marginal Analysis and Product Costing, complemented by practical knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS) and SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of SAP Controlling (CO) modules.
• Enhance and maintain SAP CO processes such as Product Costing (CO-PC), Actual Costing/Material Ledger, Marginal Analysis, and Segmental Reporting.
• Collaborate closely with finance teams and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process enhancements and apply SAP best practices.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA upgrade projects and digital transformation efforts.
• Support business requirements and integration relating to SAP Project Systems (PS) and SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).
• Handle issue investigation, root cause analysis, implement change requests, conduct testing, prepare documentation, and provide end-user training.
• Work collectively with cross-functional SAP units to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Drive AI-enabled process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of direct SAP CO consulting experience involving multiple full lifecycle SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Deep expertise in SAP CO-PC (Product Costing), Material Ledger, Actual Costing, Marginal Analysis, and Segmental Reporting.
• 2 to 3 years of experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) and SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).
• Prior experience in manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as Report Painter/Writer, LTMC, and basic ABAP debugging is beneficial.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Master's degree in management accounting or finance is required.
• Certification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or relevant SAP/finance credentials will be an advantage.

Additional Expertise - AI, Automation and Digital Transformation

• Good knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies, especially their applications within finance and business automation.
• Exposure to AI-enhanced SAP technologies including SAP Business AI, Joule, and intelligent automation within SAP.
• Experience or familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms like SAP Build Process Automation (SAP BPA), SAP BTP, and SAP Build Apps is a plus.
• Proven capability to identify automation potentials and implement AI-driven solutions to boost operational efficiency, enhance user productivity, and support smarter business decisions.
• A strong enthusiasm for continual learning in emerging AI, automation, and digital transformation technologies.
