Sales Officer - Credit Card Acquisition

Job Overview

We are seeking a Sales Officer dedicated to expanding our credit card customer base by identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate credit card solutions. This role focuses on achieving monthly sales goals and fostering strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with bank policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new potential customer leads via references, branch sources, phone outreach, and customer recommendations.
• Detail the features, benefits, fees, eligibility criteria, and promotional offers of the bank's credit cards to prospects.
• Successfully acquire new customers and meet assigned monthly sales targets.
• Establish and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve basic product-related issues promptly.
• Consistently follow up on leads to convert prospects into confirmed credit card applicants.
• Ensure complete and accurate collection and submission of customer KYC documents and applications.
• Monitor application progress regularly until card approval and effective activation.
• Encourage customers to activate their cards and promote active usage.
• Cross-sell additional banking products and relevant third-party offerings when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed records of daily sales, leads, and follow-up activities.
• Adhere strictly to bank guidelines, including KYC and sales policies.
• Collaborate with branch personnel and internal departments to facilitate smooth processing.
• Deliver exceptional customer support post card acquisition.
