In the UK, TOMRA is expanding its operations ahead of the upcoming UK Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) set for October 2027.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager for the North West England region will take full accountability for cultivating strong relationships with retailers, uncovering new business opportunities, and driving uptake of TOMRA’s solution portfolio in the area. Reporting lines support autonomy in managing the territory while benefiting from collaboration with the wider UK team.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead new business development within North West England, managing the entire sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract finalization.
- Forge and maintain strong partnerships with retailers and key stakeholders ahead of DRS launch.
- Gain deep insight into client needs to identify tailored solutions leveraging TOMRA’s offerings.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to formulate proposals, pricing models, and value propositions.
- Support pilot and trial programs as pathways to establish enduring client relationships.
- Manage and prioritize your own sales pipeline ensuring steady business growth.
- Represent TOMRA at client meetings and relevant regional industry events.

Candidate Profile

- Pragmatic approach to problem solving with strong communication skills across various stakeholder levels.
- Interest in enhancing commercial capabilities and sales acumen over time.
- Experience in customer-facing or field sales roles is beneficial but not essential; mindset and potential hold high value.
