Role Purpose

Your role as a Room Attendant is to create a sanctuary of comfort and sophistication, ensuring every guest encounters a warm and elegant environment. Through careful service, attention to hygiene, and an eye for detail, you will enhance and personalize each stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleanse and maintain guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, public areas, and staff zones following Sofitel's luxury standards.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks including carpets, grout, shower heads, minibars, air-conditioning units, and cabinetry.
• Support turn-down services and assist in preparing beds, extra beds, rollaway beds, cots, and accessible room provisions.
• Ensure pristine appearance, hygiene, and cleanliness in all hotel spaces.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests with warmth and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Handle and safely store cleaning chemicals according to health and safety protocols.
• Operate housekeeping equipment attentively, maintaining orderly trolleys and storerooms.
• Assist in laundry operations, distributing linen, stock replenishment, handling deliveries, and performing physical tasks as required.
• Report promptly any maintenance defects, broken equipment, or safety issues to supervisors.
• Observe strict adherence to security, key control policies, and protection of guest privacy.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organizational skills coupled with effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, push, and pull for long durations.
• Meticulous attention to detail with dedication to uphold high cleanliness benchmarks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning methods and proper chemical handling.
• Good command of English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• A positive mindset and adaptability to demanding situations.
