Retail Manager

About the Role

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a seasoned Retail Manager to oversee the daily retail operations within a high-quality institutional property portfolio located in Perth, Western Australia. This role is based in the Perth CBD and supports centers throughout the northern suburbs of Perth. The Retail Manager will collaborate with a Centre Manager and Facilities Management team, focusing primarily on lease administration, arrears management, retailer relations, and owner reporting. The position offers flexibility to structure the working week between the office and site visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage lease documentation, arrears tracking, and outgoing reconciliations across the portfolio.
• Produce accurate and timely financial reports and owner summaries.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with retail tenants, addressing their concerns promptly.
• Lead lease renewals, licensing agreements, and short-term leasing matters.
• Work closely with the Centre Manager and Facilities Management team to develop strategies and improve performance at centre level.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar retail property management role.
• Thorough knowledge of lease management, arrears control, and owner reporting processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a problem-solving approach to tenant relationship management.
• Current or willingness to obtain a Western Australia Real Estate licence.
• Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple sites and stakeholders efficiently.
