Job description

About United Infrastructure Ltd

United Infrastructure Ltd is an evolving and fast-growing organization dedicated to executing vital infrastructure projects within the utility and social infrastructure sectors. Our specialized teams deliver cutting-edge solutions addressing the complex challenges faced by our clients. The company is structured into two principal divisions: Utility Infrastructure, which designs, builds, and maintains essential water, gas, power, and telecommunications networks for major UK operators; and Social Infrastructure, which focuses on restoring homes and communities through retrofit, refurbishment, and maintenance activities.

We uphold a firm commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive experience for all candidates, encouraging applicants to communicate any requirements that can help remove barriers or improve accessibility.

Role Overview

The Resident Liaison Officer plays an important role as the key point of contact for residents affected by our projects. This position involves proactive communication through newsletters, meetings, site visits, and open days to keep residents informed about project processes and updates. The role requires coordinating key handovers to site teams, delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring satisfactory completion of works, and managing expectations between residents, clients, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main liaison between residents and project teams to facilitate clear and timely communication.
  • Engage residents through various communication channels including newsletters, meetings, and open days to provide project updates.
  • Coordinate the handover of keys to site personnel effectively and securely.
  • Deliver excellent post-work customer care and address any concerns to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Manage expectations among residents, clients, and operations teams to maintain positive relationships.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a confident and adaptable communicator, capable of handling challenging situations professionally and collaboratively. Prior experience working with contractors or in client-side roles related to resident liaison, community engagement, planned or reactive maintenance, or asset management is preferred. Resilience under pressure, discretion, and respectfulness in a public-facing position are essential traits. Candidates must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to personal transportation.

Additional Information

United Infrastructure invites you to join a mission focused on delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions across the UK, contributing positively to communities and the environment.
