Role Overview
As a Remote Sales Representative, you will be accountable for virtually marketing and selling the comprehensive range of surgical products including Energy, Stapling, Sutures, Access, Instruments, Electrosurgery, and Hernia devices to healthcare providers in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Your efforts will be coordinated closely with a team of remote and on-site colleagues to surpass sales goals, reporting directly to the UK & Ireland National Remote Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by building and maintaining a robust customer pipeline.
- Establish and deepen professional relationships with healthcare practitioners to promote Medtronic's surgical portfolio remotely.
- Manage assigned geography and accounts through various remote communication channels including phone, virtual platforms, live chat, and email to achieve sales objectives.
- Seek out, cultivate, and finalize new business prospects, while efficiently managing and following up on internal sales leads.
- Collaborate as an integral member of the sales team, aligning efforts with Remote and Regional Sales Managers.
- Deliver product and service education to clients to enhance understanding and sales outcomes.
- Support field sales representatives with tactical planning, sales analysis, identifying client opportunities, and follow-through activities.
- Participate in internal and client-facing meetings as required, with travel commitments up to 20%.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in sales within the medical device or high-technology sectors.
- Exceptional phone communication and virtual presentation capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales technology tools, with quick adaptability to new systems.
- Strong negotiation skills capable of influencing customer decisions and closing opportunities.
- Possession of a full, clean driving licence.
