Registered Pharmacist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Mumbai-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, dispensing medications, managing billing, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Confidentiality and professionalism are crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and scrutinize prescriptions to confirm their correctness and safety for individual patients.
• Dispense medication strictly as prescribed to patients.
• Process billing for dispensed medicines and handle cash collection efficiently.
• Check medicines for expiry dates and batch numbers, ensuring they match billing records.
• Communicate with physicians’ offices to clarify or question prescriptions when needed.
• Maintain organized records of medicine inventory and patient history, particularly for controlled substances.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly or escalate complaints to designated departments.
• Document pharmacy transactions accurately and maintain current cash registers.
• Adhere to all relevant legal requirements, rules, and procedural standards governing pharmacy practice.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding customers' medical information.

Additional Information

Salary ranges from 10,000 to 25,000 INR per month.
