Role Summary
As Regional Director based in Singapore, you will steer business strategy and market execution across Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, and select emerging frontier markets. You will balance maintaining strong leadership in established regions with pioneering growth in rapidly expanding economies, cultivating a resilient Safe Nation ecosystem through Motorola's advanced technologies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic market initiatives that align Motorola's technological portfolio—including AI, Cloud, Video Analytics, and critical communications—with national security and digital transformation priorities.
- Act as the primary executive sponsor for key government, defense, and Tier-1 enterprise clients within the region, fostering high-level relationships.
- Drive expansion strategies in high-growth countries like Indonesia by navigating complex procurement processes and embedding solutions into extensive public safety and smart city projects.
- Design and negotiate large-scale, multi-million-dollar deals involving sovereign financing, Public-Private Partnerships, and Government-to-Government agreements.
- Build and inspire a high-performing regional leadership team, promoting collaboration, agility, and disciplined sales operations.
- Manage regional portfolios with strategic allocation of resources, ensuring investment aligns with priorities and maximizes return.
- Ensure compliance with legal and commercial standards across diverse regulatory environments while mitigating risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of senior leadership experience within B2B/B2G technology infrastructure sectors, managing multi-country operations in the Asia Pacific.
- Proven track record in closing complex infrastructure or defense communications projects valued at $50 million or more.
- Strong executive presence and diplomatic abilities, capable of interacting with senior government, ministry, and C-suite stakeholders.
- In-depth expertise in international trade laws, cross-border commercial deals, and global compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated talent for developing leadership teams and fostering organizational growth.
