Position Summary
We are hiring a Recruitment & HR Operations Coordinator for a part-time role at our Santa Clara, CA office. This 6-month position involves 20-25 hours per week, typically 4 to 5 hours daily over 5 days. Compensation is set at $35 per hour with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage applicant tracking system data, maintaining updated candidate statuses and accurate records.
- Oversee interview scheduling and logistics along with maintaining candidate communication touchpoints.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and review incoming resumes as part of top-of-funnel recruitment activities.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including communication with hiring managers, IT, and HR teams and assistance during new hire orientations.
- Enter new hire data into HRIS systems, preferably ADP; provide operational assistance during offboarding and document audits with the HR Manager.
- Support immigration processes by monitoring employee visa statuses and assisting with H-1B visa procedures.
- Offer general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- At least one year of experience in recruitment support or HR administrative duties.
- Life Sciences industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; prior ADP experience is beneficial but training will be provided.
- Must be available for onsite work daily at our Santa Clara facility.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain seated or standing for extended durations during work hours.
- Capability to occasionally lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Flexibility to adapt to variable workloads and meet project deadlines.
Compensation & Compliance
- The hourly pay range complies with California SB 1162, between $30 and $35 per hour based on experience.
- This position is not eligible for corp-to-corp arrangements.
