Role overview

Tesla is hiring a Recruiter to support its North America Service organization. The ideal person will bring an inventive mindset, a strong interest in Tesla’s mission to speed up the world’s shift to sustainable energy, and a practical, non-traditional approach to finding exceptional talent.

This position calls for someone who communicates clearly, works well with different stakeholders, stays accountable, and can handle a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment. The role also requires strong presentation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess applications from internal and external sources, search for passive talent, conduct interviews, and serve as a trusted recruiting advisor to hiring teams.
• Build a strong understanding of each opening and how it contributes to the broader organization.
• Create and run sourcing plans that help build and sustain a healthy pipeline of passive candidates.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients and candidates through consistent, professional communication.
• Develop creative outreach approaches that help attract candidates early in the process.
• Handle a large number of clients and open requisitions at the same time.

Candidate profile

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proven experience sourcing and evaluating candidates in a high-volume recruitment setting.
• Ability to deliver a positive experience for both candidates and hiring partners.
• Capability to present Tesla’s mission and explain the impact of each role in a persuasive way.
• Highly organized, proactive, able to juggle priorities, and comfortable working with urgency.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system and keeping records accurate and up to date.
• Background that combines corporate and agency recruiting is preferred.
