Company Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and welcoming individual to join our Front Office team as a Receptionist (m/f/d), providing professional and warm service to our international guests. Our hotel offers a modern work environment in a central location with a dynamic team devoted daily to ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and pleasant stay.
Our property features 117 air-conditioned rooms with a 3-star superior classification and is part of the Accor group. Conveniently located, the main train station lies about 1 km away, and the A5 motorway is roughly 8 km distant. The hotel is certified Green Key and VDR, and contains three modern conference rooms accommodating up to 140 people.
Following a thorough renovation, the hotel boasts a contemporary standard targeting an international clientele. Team spirit, exceptional service quality, and hospitality define our daily operations.
Role Description
- Professionally welcoming guests as well as managing check-ins and check-outs for international visitors.
- Providing ongoing guest support and advice throughout their stay.
- Handling phone and written inquiries in both German and English.
- Receiving and processing reservations.
- Preparing guest invoices, managing cash transactions, and performing daily financial reconciliation.
- Collaborating with different hotel departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Managing guest complaints with professionalism.
- Actively promoting additional services such as the ALL – Accor Live Limitless membership card.
Qualifications
- Completed training in hospitality; prior experience at front desk or reception is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in German and English; French is a plus.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Enthusiasm for working with international guests.
- Strong team player with communication skills and self-responsibility.
- Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
