React UI Developer

Role overview

This opportunity is for a specialist React UI Developer based in Mississauga, Ontario, to build and support cloud-native user interface applications. What you will do

• Design, build, and support modern web applications using HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, and React.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver interfaces that are intuitive, practical, and performant.
• Maintain strong application quality and responsiveness across multiple devices and browsers.
• Write code that is clean, maintainable, and aligned with established engineering practices.
• Keep pace with current developments in React and cloud-native frontend engineering.
• Investigate and fix frontend defects to improve stability and performance.
• Create UI components that work smoothly with backend services.
• Take the lead on frontend efforts within the UI cloud-native skill group.
• Coach junior developers and share guidance on React and modern JavaScript techniques.
• Work with backend engineers on API integration and reliable data exchange.
• Promote cloud-native thinking in frontend design and implementation.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and on-time feature delivery.
• Help ensure UI development follows security requirements and best practices.
• Support technical design choices and assess new frontend technologies for possible adoption.

Experience and technical profile
