Project Requisitioner

Overview

This role requires a minimum of three years of experience working within project support functions, particularly in procurement and vendor coordination. Fluency in English and Azerbaijani is essential. The successful candidate will support the project management team mainly during key phases such as project close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist project management with tasks including supplier payments and data entry within SAP, especially during project close-out.
• Oversee and coordinate procurement activities and management processes.
• Create purchase requisitions and manage technical evaluation aspects.
• Support Project Manager in resolving vendor payment issues.
• Coordinate red-marked and as-built documentation processes.
• Utilize project management tools to monitor purchase requests, work orders, and related progress metrics such as hours and costs for external services.
• Follow up with vendors regarding material certificates and liaise with suppliers and relevant departments post-order.
• Assist with invoicing tasks when required.
• Prepare material requests collaboratively with end users and gather the necessary information.
• Maintain contact with end users and purchasers regarding issuance and revisions of material requests.
• Strictly comply with company Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) policies at all times and locations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Higher education qualification.
• At least three years in a similar role.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani languages.
• Strong knowledge in communication, project documentation, and information management.
• Proficient understanding of purchasing procedures and best practices.
• Experienced user of SAP software.
• Excellent communication skills.
