About the Role
Our client, a prominent multidisciplinary consultancy in Dublin, is expanding their team and inviting Project Managers at various career stages to join. This role involves collaborating within an experienced project management team handling diverse projects spanning data centres, infrastructure, commercial offices, retail, health, education, hospitality, leisure, and residential sectors.
Key Duties
- Assist in executing project management assignments obtained by the practice.
- Support senior leadership in ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within financial limits, and aligned with defined service scopes.
- Coordinate with clients and a range of professionals such as surveyors, engineers, and architects.
- Manage documentation including minutes, agendas, and meeting schedules.
- Analyze weekly progress reports relative to timelines and report findings to senior staff.
- Facilitate communication and information exchange between design and construction teams.
- Attend weekly management meetings and contribute accordingly.
- Help administer the Safety Management System.
- Prepare and distribute daily and weekly scheduling information to subcontractors.
- Compile and examine weekly and monthly reports.
- Ensure consistently high-quality delivery and superior client and stakeholder service.
- Create clear and concise project documentation including briefs, reports, and schedules, adhering to company standards.
- Support senior members in client and stakeholder liaison with professionalism and integrity.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Project for project tasks.
- Oversee fee proposal management and assist senior staff in bid preparation.
- Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for consultants and professional services as needed.
- Prepare tender lists, evaluate tenders, and draft associated procurement reports.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and design teams.
- Lead and participate in project meetings to monitor milestones and deliverables.
- Enforce company ethical standards.
- Provide daily support across multiple projects.
- Drive and maintain excellence in service delivery.
- Assist senior management in achieving strategic and business objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Economics, or a related Level 8 qualification.
- At least two years of relevant experience in construction roles.
- Familiarity with public works contracts is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work autonomously and assume responsibility.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts and procurement methodologies.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Client-side project management experience is desirable.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in the EU/UK, with willingness to travel occasionally.
