Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all structural inspection, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance tasks assigned by the Project Manager, ensuring full adherence to contractual obligations and achieving all required SLAs and KPIs, thereby preventing any quality issues.
- Optimize the daily deployment and utilization of all structural personnel, including internal staff and subcontractors, to minimize inefficiencies and maintain consistency.
- Facilitate the proper and efficient use of the Asset Management System (MAXIMO) to accurately manage and close Work Orders and Service Requests among all relevant parties involved in structural tasks.
- Assist the Structures Manager in managing deliverables, representing the structural team in client meetings, and liaising with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary groups such as traffic management, lighting, highways, pavement, health and safety, and others to ensure smooth integration of network operations and maintenance and maximize operational effectiveness.
Professional Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Certification or demonstrated experience in Project Management.
- Proven track record in the operations and maintenance of bridges and highway structures under contract conditions.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing projects, and engaging with clients effectively.
- Knowledge of bridge asset management principles, condition assessment techniques, and lifecycle management planning.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management software, preferably MAXIMO, and Bridge Management Systems (BMS) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills enabling data interpretation and development of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, as well as capital improvement initiatives.
- High attention to detail with capability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver accurate results.
- Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and stakeholder interface.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary groups, with willingness to travel for meetings, on-site inspections, and client engagements.
