Role Overview

The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in the efficient execution of roofing projects by handling coordination, maintaining documentation, and facilitating communication among all parties involved. The position involves managing preconstruction deliverables, assisting with procurement, and collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Norcross, GA, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM including a one-hour lunch break. Applicants residing more than 40 miles or 1.5 hours away from the office will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee purchase orders specific to each project, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and timely vendor submission.

  • Engage in preconstruction activities including early planning, scope reviews, logistical planning, submittal coordination, and handoff meetings to keep project teams informed.

  • Organize and lead weekly Friday morning meetings by preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items.
