About the Role

Join Goodyear in Medicine Hat, Alberta, as a Production Technician contributing to the creation of innovative tire products. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace continuously.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures and safety guidelines rigorously.
  • Operate industrial tire manufacturing equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all produced output meets defined quality standards.
  • Perform various physical tasks including lifting materials of varying weights, climbing, standing long periods, squatting, bending, and working at heights when required.
  • Adhere to company attendance policies consistently.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written formats.
  • Follow all instructions thoroughly to achieve operational success.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting, climbing, squatting, standing, bending, and working at heights, with reasonable accommodations if needed.
  • Successful completion of all post-offer pre-employment requirements.
  • Willingness and ability to work any shifts including rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime if applicable.
  • Basic proficiency with computers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Production Technician within a manufacturing plant setting.
  • Additional manufacturing-related education or certifications.
  • Experience complying with industry-specific safety regulations.
