Production Operator

Position Overview

We are looking for experienced and motivated Production Operators to join our team at Smithtown for 2 permanent full-time positions focused in the Fill & Pack department. The ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic production environment, contributing to operational excellence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Embrace continuous improvement and employ structured problem-solving techniques.
• Support achieving production line standards, maintaining safety and adherence to the 4M principles (Man, Machine, Method, Material).
• Maintain a zero tolerance approach to injury, defects, and waste, fostering positive safety, health, environment, and quality behaviors.
• Engage actively in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) to enhance capabilities and performance.
• Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, reliability, and cost standards during operations.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Dependability and flexibility to work on various shifts.
• A proactive approach to continuous learning, prioritizing safety, quality, and overall wellbeing.
• Proficient numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with PCs and competence in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with SAP software and understanding of SAP transaction management.
• Technical aptitude for manual handling tasks and physically capable.
• Commitment to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.
• Forklift license is advantageous.
• Preference given to candidates who exhibit strong attention to standards and engage effectively with NCE and TPM practices.
