Job description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize plant manufacturing operations at PureLife in Rabigh, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role oversees the achievement of production volume goals, ensures adherence to cost, quality, and safety standards, and spearheads continuous improvement initiatives within the Operations Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end manufacturing processes to deliver products meeting volume, cost, and quality targets in line with company policies.
- Supervise daily production activities including machinery operation and maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance equipment effectiveness.
- Develop and control the annual production budget ensuring alignment with financial constraints.
- Introduce and maintain operational policies, Lean manufacturing techniques, and process optimizations to boost workflow efficiency and minimize waste.
- Plan and execute production schedules to optimize capacity utilization and minimize operational expenses.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to monitor raw material consumption and scrap rates, ensuring efficient inventory availability.
- Assist management in assessing operational capacities and technical upgrades to accommodate new product needs.
- Guarantee full compliance with Quality Assurance parameters and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards throughout the production floor.
- Lead efforts for ongoing improvements driven by audit outcomes, defect investigations, and safety assessments.
- Coach and guide a multidisciplinary production team including engineers and supervisors to build a skilled and accountable technical workforce.
- Define KPIs, assess team performances, and implement focused training programs to enhance productivity.
- Maintain high morale, discipline, and clear responsibility across all shifts and teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of cumulative experience in plant manufacturing operations, with at least 4 to 6 years in managerial or senior operational roles within similar manufacturing settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in production planning, equipment maintenance management, capacity utilization, and plant cost efficiency.
Educational Background and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciplines such as Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Advanced education such as a Master's degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (MBA) or Supply Chain/Operations Management is highly favored.
- Professional certifications including Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
