Product Planning Intern

Overview

Join BMW Group's Corporate Headquarters in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, as a Product Planning Intern for a 12-month placement. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the automotive sector, detail-focused, proactive, and aspiring to develop a career within the luxury automotive industry. Interns will contribute to the formulation and execution of BMW Group Canada's product, pricing, and volume strategies for both short and long terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the deployment of product and pricing strategies tailored to the Canadian marketplace.
• Support the creation of product and pricing presentations for high-level executives.
• Conduct competitive market research and analysis to inform strategy.
• Prepare and disseminate internal and external product communications.
• Verify product accuracy by reviewing different assets and media.
• Manage databases and systems, including extracting, entering, and manipulating data.
• Monitor and maintain records of pre-production vehicles.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in at least the third year of a university degree program in Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail with effective prioritization skills.
• A genuine automotive enthusiast.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Tableau or similar analytics software is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must have own means of transportation.

Additional Information

• Start Date: September 7, 2026.
• Employment Type: Limited term, part-time, onsite role.
• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
• Salary Range: Between 47000 and 49000 CAD annually, depending on experience, education, and skills.
