Product Designer - UFM Platform

Position Overview

Joining as the second designer within the UFM program, you will work directly under the design lead, collaborating extensively with diverse product pods. Your role involves managing the design system governance, enhancing the user experience of various business modules and the driver application. Working in an environment where product development includes rapid prototyping, you will safeguard a cohesive user journey throughout the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand and maintain the UFM design system to cover all user interfaces for different modules.
• Collaborate closely with pod builders to design swift module workflows validated by early customer adopters.
• Take full ownership of core interface areas such as the driver application and operator worklists while supporting pod growth.
• Integrate design reviews seamlessly into accelerated delivery cycles by focusing on creating reusable patterns and design guardrails instead of detailed pixel-by-pixel checks.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a robust portfolio demonstrating product design capabilities, preferably with B2B or SaaS background.
• Thinking systemically about design challenges and solutions.
• Comfortable with both coding prototypes and using design software like Figma.
• Empathizes with multiple personas including drivers, fleet managers, suppliers, and back-office operators.
• Fluent in English, with additional European languages considered advantageous.

Salary & Employment Details

• Salary scales vary based on location, ranging from 34,000 to 81,000 Euros annually depending on city (e.g., Amsterdam: 69,000-81,000€; Paris: 45,000-60,000€).
• This opportunity is also available to freelance contractors.
• Fully remote working arrangements are supported.
• A French employment contract is accessible even when the role is located outside France.
