Role Overview

We seek a Product Designer to enhance the user experience for developers and teams utilizing LangChain. The role involves working on core product features ranging from onboarding processes to advanced platform functionalities like debugging, evaluation, and observability. You will focus on creating seamless interfaces that enable developers to perform complex technical tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain deep insights into developer usage of LangChain products through interviews and feedback to ensure designs address real user needs.
• Manage the entire design process for your features, from concept ideation through to the final polished release.
• Adapt and contribute across multiple product areas and initiatives as priorities evolve.
• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to expedite the delivery of new features.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in full-stack product design, ideally within developer tools, artificial intelligence, or complex SaaS platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail supported by strong skills in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual aesthetics.
• Proven experience solving challenging interaction design problems, particularly with dense technical data.
• Proficient in data-driven design decisions by conducting and leveraging user research from both internal and external sources.
• Demonstrates initiative and takes responsibility for tasks from start to finish.
• Strong technical understanding enabling effective collaborations with engineers to create designs that are both elegant and implementable.
• Experience thriving in agile, fast-paced startup environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $185,000. We provide a competitive total compensation package that may include base salary, performance-based variable pay, meaningful equity, and comprehensive benefits.
