Job Purpose and Impact
The Laboratory and Shipment Technician II is responsible for overseeing laboratory controls of the technological manufacturing process, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards through adherence to established procedures. This role includes preparing and managing shipments of final syrup products to customers while conducting quality checks to comply with client requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute laboratory analyses following specified measurement methods and schedules with guidance.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshooting basic malfunctions.
- Apply both practical and theoretical knowledge of analytical techniques relevant to food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage operational tasks related to preparing and shipping syrup products, ensuring prompt delivery and excellent service quality.
- Utilize comprehensive understanding of the syrup manufacturing process to identify potential food safety and quality risks.
- Comply with all safety and quality assurance protocols including GMP, GLP, and HACCP, and coordinate with refinery management and operational leaders as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
