Product and Branding Designer

About the Role

Join WillowTree as a Product Designer and help transform ideas into tangible products by leading key product design decisions. You'll work closely with a collaborative, diverse team to influence the design direction and ensure the quality execution of your work. This role emphasizes flexibility in work location while maintaining strong collaboration within the team and with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside cross-functional teams including Software Engineers, Researchers, Strategists, and Project Managers daily.
• Co-facilitate ideation sessions, workshops, demos, and client presentations directly on-site.
• Advocate for and create inclusive and accessible designs for diverse users.
• Ensure fidelity between design assets and their implementation in code.
• Create sketches, wireframes, information architecture, motion designs, and conduct usability testing.
• Design pixel-precise responsive user interfaces that leverage common interface patterns for better user experience.
• Align content strategy seamlessly with design execution.
• Engage in design critiques to continuously enhance quality and innovation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum two years experience designing digital products.
• A strong portfolio showcasing both compelling visual design and user experience expertise.
• Track record of successfully launching multiple digital products.
• Previous experience within agile development environments, specifically two-week sprint cycles.
• Proficient in presenting and communicating design rationale to clients and team members.
• Current proficiency using industry design tools such as Figma and Sketch.
