About the Role
Join Lumino City Dental on the Park in Tauranga as a Practice Manager, leading a busy patient-oriented dental clinic that's part of Lumino The Dentists, New Zealand's largest dental healthcare network with over 120 clinics nationwide. This full-time position offers a unique chance to influence both operational success and patient satisfaction through solid leadership and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a high-performing team to deliver stellar dental services.
- Handle the daily operations, administrative tasks, and workflow management of the practice.
- Manage front desk and reception activities to ensure smooth patient experiences.
- Develop and coordinate staff rosters and support effective workforce planning.
- Monitor the practice's operational performance and efficiency metrics.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism.
- Encourage a collaborative, positive, and patient-centric work environment.
- Assist clinicians and staff in meeting clinical and organizational objectives.
- Implement continuous improvement projects and uphold adherence to company policies.
Work Hours
- Monday: 8:15am - 5:15pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:15pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:15pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Thursday: 8:00am - 6:15pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm (45-minute unpaid lunch)
Qualifications & Skills Desired
- Prior leadership experience as a Practice Manager, Office Manager, Team Leader, or similar role.
- Strong capabilities in leadership and managing people effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
- A proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in healthcare, dental, medical, or customer service industries is highly beneficial.
