About the Role
Based at Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine on the Nyiyaparli people's traditional land, this position involves developing and managing maintenance schedules for mobile equipment. The role works an 8 days on, 6 days off roster with FIFO options from Perth or Busselton.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update the weekly maintenance plan for mobile assets.
- Schedule both preventive and corrective maintenance for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME), Small Mobile Equipment (SME), registerable plant, and workshop infrastructure.
- Coordinate external vendor mobilization for specialized maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Ensure SAP master data is accurate and supports smooth maintenance planning and execution.
- Manage the asset register for the site efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with Supervisors, Reliability Engineers, and Maintenance teams to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce downtime.
- Adhere to safety, operational, and regulatory requirements in all planning activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in planning maintenance for Heavy Mobile Equipment.
- Proficient with SAP Master Data management.
- Background in mining or heavy industry maintenance planning.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
