Role Overview
As a vital contributor in MicroVision's People Operations team, you will collaborate with employees and managers to fulfill business needs by overseeing the entire employee lifecycle. This role demands a versatile HR professional proficient in various People Operations domains, including HR administration, benefits, employee engagement, and system management to support daily organizational operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional support to employees and managers, promptly addressing employee inquiries and needs.
- Ensure data accuracy within the HRIS platform.
- Coordinate with payroll and IT departments regarding personnel data updates.
- Manage People Operations workflows, documentation, and procedures.
- Administer employee benefits by managing change reporting, invoice reconciliation, and communicating benefits details.
- Oversee leave of absence administration.
- Handle immigration documentation and processes in consultation with legal counsel.
- Maintain compliance with employment legislation at federal, state, and local levels.
- Support Safety Team efforts including meetings and related activities.
- Assist in organizing employee events, programs, and trainings.
- Conduct orientations, onboarding, offboarding, and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with recruiting to align position matching and compensation, including maintenance of compensation programs.
- Coordinate with the Germany People Operations team to standardize processes.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five years of professional HR experience or an equivalent educational and experience combination.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
- Experience in human resource functions within a technology-oriented company.
- Proficiency in managing employee benefits programs.
- Prior experience in startup environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or comparable HRIS platforms is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally across all organizational levels.
Additional Information
The position offers flexible scheduling, potentially blending remote and onsite work based on team and business needs. The candidate must reside within commuting distance of the Orlando, FL office. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
