Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Control Room Operator to join our dynamic team remotely. This role involves managing alarm signals and coordinating responses according to client site protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, and flexibility to operate during 12-hour shifts covering nights, days, and weekends.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor alarm activations from customers’ premises, including CCTV signals.
  • Coordinate with keyholders, Garda (police), and emergency services as per established procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to client protocols when processing alarm events.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents in line with PSA performance standards.
  • Handle inbound and outbound communications with alarm installers, end-users, and emergency services professionally.
  • Provide assistance to installers and end-users regarding monitoring queries.
  • Conduct regular CCTV camera patrols and document any faults during shifts.
  • Maintain vigilance regarding workplace health and safety, ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and functional.
  • Carry out additional duties assigned by the control room supervisor or management during shifts.
