Job Overview

Join FedEx Canada as a Package Handler in Castlegar, British Columbia, working full-time onsite. This role involves loading and unloading freight, scanning, and sorting shipments within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight efficiently.
• Scan and organize shipments inside the warehouse.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to complete all basic and ongoing training successfully.
• Physically able to lift 70 pounds and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 pounds using proper equipment.
• Ability to operate within a Windows PC environment.

Additional Requirements

• Must work flexible hours depending on business needs.
• Maintain annual required accreditations and successfully complete recurring training.
• If residing in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.
• For roles requiring vehicle operation, candidates must have a valid driver’s license (e.g., class 5, G or 1 AZ) with no more than two driving violations or accidents within the previous 24 months.
• Candidates will undergo evaluation including driving record review, interview performance, and driving skills assessment.

Compensation
