Oracle PCMCS Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PCMCS (Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service) Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role primarily involves designing, developing, and implementing Oracle PCMCS solutions to facilitate cost allocation and profitability analysis that support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Oracle PCMCS models encompassing allocation rules, rule sets, and calculation logic.
• Configure business rules, driver-based allocations, and manage multi-stage cost allocations to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional PCMCS models and calculations.
• Perform data integration tasks and data loading using Data Management tools such as FDMEE or comparable integration utilities.
• Build and maintain profitability models, hierarchies, dimensions, and metadata to support accurate financial analysis.
• Create and manage reports, dashboards, and analysis views utilizing PCMCS and Smart View to provide actionable insights.
• Optimize application performance ensuring efficient execution of allocation processes.
• Support financial closing activities monthly and quarterly by delivering precise cost allocations and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to calculations, data integration, and system performance to maintain operational stability.
• Conduct thorough unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist with application deployments across different environments.
• Maintain detailed technical and functional documentation for financial models and operational processes, ensuring alignment with governance, audit, and financial standards.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Demonstrable hands-on experience working with Oracle PCMCS in the EPM Cloud environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cost allocation approaches and profitability analysis techniques.
• Expertise in configuring allocation rules, cost drivers, and multi-dimensional financial models.
• Understanding of finance-related processes including General Ledger (GL), cost accounting, and profitability reporting frameworks.
• Experience with data management and integration tools such as FDMEE.
• Proficiency in managing EPM Cloud dimensions, hierarchies, and metadata.
• Familiarity with Smart View and other reporting and analytical tools used in PCMCS environments.
• Basic working knowledge of SQL and general data handling concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with good communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and business teams.
