Operational Support Colleague

About the Role

Join Primark as an in-store Operational Support Colleague, where you will back the Store Manager and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to ensure smooth store operations and a safe environment for colleagues and customers alike. This role serves as the primary contact within the store for maintaining safety protocols while enhancing the shopping experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Management to identify and mitigate hazards and deliver training initiatives to promote operational excellence.
• Handle POS ticket printing and assist with pricing updates to improve customer service.
• Lead local EHS compliance activities including onboarding training and refresher courses.
• Generate maintenance repair requests, coordinate with contractors, and manage required documentation supporting management.
• Address technology repair issues promptly by reporting and monitoring resolutions.
• Update store systems meticulously, keeping stock accuracy intact and overseeing lost property procedures.
• Manage procurement of PPE, stationery, hardware for sales floor, and ensure First Aid supplies are replenished.
• Support periodic self-audits and keep Store Manager and EHS/Operations Lead informed of daily and weekly progress and deadlines.

Additional Information

The hourly compensation for this position is approximately $16.50. Pay rates may vary based on location, experience, and skill level.
