Role Summary and Responsibilities
The Occupational Health Specialist will deliver comprehensive occupational health solutions by assessing employee and workplace health, managing reports and escalations regarding occupational health conditions, and advancing occupational health initiatives to benefit both divisions and the entire company. Key duties include aligning and implementing occupational health services with divisional and group strategies, maintaining and analyzing employee health data to generate meaningful statistics, and developing and facilitating occupational health training for managers, safety advisors, and other staff. The role also involves identifying health hazards, conducting workplace assessments, and monitoring employee health within their working environments.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree relevant to the field and hold a NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety. Proficiency in English is essential. Experience in FMCG or logistics sectors is preferred. The incumbent should be capable of performing diverse occupational health assessments, interpreting outcomes, and delivering appropriate health solutions. Additionally, experience in managing workplace crisis and emergency scenarios is required.
